Q1: What products can be molded with CarbonForce presses?
+
Our hot press systems are widely used for carbon fiber composites, prepreg laminates, thermoplastic sheets, SMC/BMC parts, and multi-layer hybrid materials. Common applications include pickleball/tennis rackets, UAV frames, aerospace interior panels, automotive body parts, bicycle frames, and medical device housings. We offer custom platen designs for unique product geometries.
Q2: How long is the delivery lead time?
+
Standard model delivery is 8-12 weeks from order confirmation. Custom-configured systems typically require 10-16 weeks depending on complexity. Emergency orders may be accommodated with our express production line (subject to availability). We provide a detailed production schedule upon order confirmation with milestone updates.
Q3: Do you provide on-site installation and commissioning?
+
Yes. Every CarbonForce machine includes standard remote setup support (video calls, documentation). Premium installation packages include 3-10 days of on-site service by our senior engineers, covering mechanical installation, electrical commissioning, software setup, operator training, and trial production runs. We serve clients globally.
Q4: What is the warranty period?
+
Standard warranty is 12 months from commissioning or 18 months from shipment (whichever comes first), covering all non-wear parts. Extended warranty packages of 24-36 months are available. We maintain a global spare parts inventory with express shipping to minimize downtime.
Q5: Can the platen size and press force be customized?
+
Absolutely. Customization is our core strength. We can tailor platen dimensions (from 300mm to 3000mm+), press force (from 5T to 2000T+), heating/cooling systems, control architecture, automation level, and auxiliary modules. Contact our engineering team with your specifications for a feasibility assessment and detailed proposal.
Q6: What is the minimum order quantity?
+
We have no minimum order requirement. Single-machine orders are welcome. For clients exploring new applications, we recommend starting with our CP-500 compact press for R&D and pilot production. As your production scales, we offer seamless upgrades to higher-tonnage models with consistent control interfaces.
Q7: Do you offer mold design and fabrication services?
+
We provide in-house mold design consultation and can fabricate production-grade molds upon request. Our engineering team will analyze your part drawings (STEP/IGES/DWG formats), recommend optimal mold materials (P20, H13, S136, etc.), design thermal management channels, and produce fully tested molds. Alternatively, we work with your preferred mold supplier and provide thermal interface specifications.
