PicklePro Sports, based in Phoenix, Arizona, is a fast-growing pickleball equipment manufacturer. With the explosive growth of pickleball in North America, they needed to scale production from 200 to 1,200+ paddles per shift while maintaining strict quality standards for tournament-grade equipment.
Their existing compression molding process required 8+ minutes per paddle with inconsistent thickness control (±0.5mm). This limited daily output to approximately 400 paddles. Quality issues led to a 12% rejection rate, mainly due to delamination and uneven surface finish. Manual mold changes took 45+ minutes per changeover.
CarbonForce deployed 4 CP-BALL racket specialist presses with custom heated platens optimized for pickleball paddle geometries. Each press features our rapid-heat platen technology with the patented multi-zone temperature control system. We also provided 12 sets of production molds and trained PicklePro team on optimized press cycles.
Installation completed in 3 weeks. Our engineers worked alongside PicklePro production team to fine-tune cycle parameters and mold alignment. After 2 weeks of trial production, the line achieved full capacity.
